Funeral services for Julia Cleola Carver Tilley, 93, of DeRidder, were Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse Church in DeRidder with Rev. James Herrington and Rev. Malcom Jeane officiating. Interment
followed at Burr Ferry Cemetery in Leesville.
Ms. Tilley passed away January 22, 2009 in DeRidder.
Visitation was Friday, January 23, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday January 24, 2009 from 8 a.m. until
time of service at the church.
Mrs. Tilley leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Betty Spell and husband James; son Rev. Eddie A. Tilley and wife Beverly; sisters Claudia Willis and Lural Dodson; brother Cullen Carver; seven
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Tilley, daughter Nelta Kay, grandson Johnny Kay, her parents, four sisters and five brothers.
