Funeral services for Lillian Marguerite Smith, 82, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb.25, 2009, in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder. with Rev. Maurice Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery
under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Mrs. Smith passed away on Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, in Westwood Manor Nursing Home in DeRidder. She was born in Newton, Texas was a former resident of Leesville and resided
in DeRidder for several years. She was a retired secretary with the U.S. Civil Service at Ft. Polk and other bases, with thirty-nine years of service. She was member of the East Leesville Baptist Church in Leesville.
She is survived by
her husband, Lee Smith of DeRidder; daughter Donna Works and husband Bob of DeRidder; brother, Buddy Goff and wife Sue of Leesville; granddaughter Tina Works Indest and husband Brent of New Iberia, LA; great granddaughter, Jessica Margurette Indest
of New Iberia.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb.24, 2009, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, Feb.25, 2009 , in Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
