Benny Ray Self, 72, passed from this life on Monday, June 1, 2009, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. His funeral service will be held today, Thursday, June 4, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel of Leesville with Pastor
Les Comeaux officiating.
Burial will follow in Self Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Hixson Chapel of Leesville. Survivors
include his son, Bryan Self of Anacoco; step-mother, Vera Self and brother, Danny Self of Hornbeck.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Gregory.
