Joyce Lea Emerson, 59, passed from this life on July 15, 2009 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Emerson, Sr. of Leesville; daughters, Erainna Winnett and husband Charles, their children, Ashley
and Amber Winnett, all of Colbert, Ok.; Anita Lawrence and husband Frank, their children, Brittany and Blake Wilber; sons, Raymond Bright, his son, Ashton Bright, Charles Emerson, Jr. and wife Amanda, their children, Charles Emerson, III, Whitley
Emerson, Dillin Emerson; Brad Emerson and wife Stephanie; brothers, Roger Martinez, Johnny Martinez, James Martinez, and Malcolm Martinez; sisters, JoAnn McFatter and Shirley Jones, all of Leesville.
Joyce was the owner of Emerson
American Air of Leesville. She attended South Park Baptist Church of Leesville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Ministers officiating will be the Revs. Millard Monk and Walter
Collins. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery in Leesville under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Words of comfort may be shared with
