Funeral services for Carol Cochran Lohmeyer, 65, of Anacoco will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 7
at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Bart Murphy and Rev. Millard Monk officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday, October 6 from 9 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Carol, the daughter of Robert V. and Dorothy D. Cobb Cochran was born on November 9, 1943 in Natchitoches. She passed away on Monday, October 5 at Byrd
Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Lohmeyer was a LPN and worked at Byrd Regional Hospital and Vernon Home Health. She was a member of the Order Of The Eastern Star Chapter 244; a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church and had served as a Sunday
school teacher.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy Cochran; brother Thomas E. Cochran; sisters Francis Aline Cochran and Patricia Toney.
She is survived by sons Dan C. Cochran of Gulfport, Miss.
and David D. Dickard of Anacoco; daughters Ginger L. Blevins of Woodbridge, Wash., and Michelle R. Hair of Anacoco; sisters Evelyn D. Sansom of Satelite Beach, Fla., Roberta “Bobbie” Koepp of Cleveland, Texas, Katherine E. Hillman of DeRidder;
grandchildren, Jan Gum, Dan Cochran II, Savannah Cochran, Larry Blevins, Christopher Hair, and Anneliese Taylor; great grandchildren Hayden Gum, Hiram Gum, Jordan Cochran, Brooke Cochran, Jessalynn Cochran, and Nick Cochran and many nieces &
nephews.
