Lucille Mitchell Emmons

Lucille Mitchell Emmons, 86, passed from this life on October 25, 2009 in Leesville.
She was a lifelong resident of Leesville having graduated from Evans High School in 1940. She was a professional seamstress and retired
from Fort Polk as a personnel clerk. She was a member of White Park Church of Christ of Leesville. Lucille is survived by her husband, Alton Emmons of Leesville; son, Donnie Mitchell and wife Edie of Leesville; daughters, Bonnie Bledsoe and husband
Maurice of Lafayette and Connie Odom and husband Tommy of Elizabeth; daughter-in-law, Lynda Mitchell; stepdaughter, Charlotte Smith and husband Bobby; sister, Ruby White Addison; and brother, James White all of Leesville; 18 grandchildren; 29 great
grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul “Toge” Mitchell; son, Ronald W. Mitchell; and her parents, Myrtie Cole White and Ray White.
Visitation
was held on Monday, October 26, 2009, 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel of Leesville. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home. Ministers officiating will be Andy Addison and Ricky
Kay. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
