Funeral services for Debra Rene’ McGlothlin, 49, of Hammond will be held Sunday, December 20 at 2 p.m.
in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will be Saturday, December 19 from 1 p.m. until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Wales Cemetery in Slagle. Services are under the direction of the
Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mrs. McGlothlin, the daughter of Jackson and Carolyn Collins McGlothlin, Sr., was born on October 28, 1960 in Shreveport. She passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Our Lady of the
Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She lived in Vernon Parish for 25 years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her
father, Jackson McGlothlin Sr.; brothers, Jackson McGlothlin Jr. and Ricky McGlothlin and nephew Devin Boycher.
She is survived by her fiancé, Carl Phillips of Hammond, three sons; Ryan Frederick of Hammond, Ronald Hughes, Jr. of
Elkmont, AL and Tyler Knight of Hammond; three daughters; Jenifer Frederick of Jennings, Veronica Hughes of Hammond and Kendall Knight of Hammond; mother, Carolyn McGlothlin of Evans; three brothers, Michael McGlothlin of Leesville, Jerry McGlothlin
of Leesville and Stephen McGlothlin of Evans; three sisters, Sheila Scanlon of Leesville, Lori McGlothlin of Rosepine and Michele McGlothlin of Rosepine; three grandchildren; Sydni, Brooklyn and Wyatt and a host of nieces and nephews.
