Funeral services for Mrs. Della Mae McDonald will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in the Rush Chapel, Pitkin with Reverend Mike Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Branch Cemetery under the direction of Rush
Funeral Home, Pitkin.
Mrs. McDonald, 88, of Dry Prong entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 24, 2010 in her residence with her family near her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse C. McDonald; one
son, Walter McDonald and his wife, Nancy Lee Clow McDonald; an infant daughter; her parents, David and Mae Bell Smith and three sisters, Rosie Brinkley, Mary Ann Brack and Ruthie Edmondson.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her
memory include one son, Roy C. McDonald and his wife, LaVerne of West Orange, Texas; one daughter, Mae Dean McDonald Randall of Dry Prong; three sisters, Retha Deason of Pitkin, Delma Shope of Nash, Texas and Ruby Walters of Hineston; seven
grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pitkin on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 8 a.m. until time
of services at 2 p.m.
