Lillian Cabra Jeane, 89, passed from this life on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at
Tioga.
Her Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at 11a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Minister will be Rev. James Thomasee. Burial will be at Fort Jesup Cemetery, Many, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home
of Leesville, a dignity memorial provider. Visitation will begin on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville. Pallbearers will be Gilmer Jeane, Jr., Gerald Jeane, Gregory Jeane, Larry Jeane, Stephan Jeane, Alan
Jeane, Daniel Jeane and Charles Jeane.
She is survived by her four sons, Gilmer Jeane, Jr. of Wayton, Ark., Gerald Jeane and wife Nicole of Gretna, Gregory Jeane and wife Karen of Birmingham, Ala. and Larry Jeane and wife Johanne of
Pineville; ten grandchildren, Stephanie Jeane-Leeman and husband, Joseph, Stephen Jeane and wife Cindy, Michelle Jeane Conklin and husband, Daryl, Chantal Jeane, Alan Jeane and wife Andi, Daniel Jeane, Charles Jeane and wife Sabrina, Lauren Jeane
Dressback and husband Shane, Paul Jeane, Joan Jeane Scott and husband Jason; eleven great-grandchildren, Lillian Jeane-Leeman, Jenna Jeane, Hayden Conklin, Mason Conklin, Logan Conklin, Aidan Jeane, Kaylee Dressback, Tyler Dressback, Victoria Scott,
Isabella Scott and Nikolas Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Cabra, Sr. and Belle Parker Cabra; siblings, Percy Cabra, Jr., Howard Cabra and Arlene Cabra Burgdof; husband, G.B. Jeane, Sr. and son Dennis K. Jeane.
Lillian was born on April 2, 1921 in Leesville and graduated from Leesville High School in 1939. Lillian retired from Fort Polk Central as an accountant. She was affectionately known as “Sugar” by friends and family and was very active in her
church work throughout the years. She enjoyed traveling overseas and was a faithful member of the Red Hat Society. Lillian was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
