Graveside services for Honey G. Moore Bratcher, 86, of New Llano, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Stephens Cemetery in Leesville with the Rev. Ray Blanchard officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby
Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the funeral home.
Honey, the daughter of Byron Franklin and Ovelia Ruth Coots Simmon was born on September
1, 1924 in Mansfield. She passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Alexandria. Honey was a resident of Pasadena, Texas from 1957 until 2006 when she moved to Leesville to be with her daughter. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Pasadena,
Texas for 60 years. She was a homemaker, taught school and also worked with the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Jo Deane Silva and Lynda Kay Moore and granddaughters, Angel and Amanda Byrd.
She is survived by her daughter, Lola and Robert Byrd of New Llano; brother, Marvin Ray Simmon of Patoka, Indiana and sisters, JoAnn Rhodes of Gibsland and Judy Coleson of Miss.; grandchildren Clayton Byrd and Rhondia Louvier and great
grandchild, Terry Lynn Brookshire, Jr.
