Funeral services for Clyde W. Manasco, 87, of Simpson, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Simpson Baptist Church in Simpson, with the Rev. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Kisatchie Cemetery in
Kisatchie under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2011 at the church.
Clyde, the son of Charlie E. and Ruby Bickham Manasco, was born
on August 16, 1923, in Peason. He passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Charles “Chuck” Manasco and Clyde “Rick” Jr. Manasco and brother, Clarence
Manasco.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Essie Manasco of Simpson; son, Mike Manasco of Simpson; sisters, Rubylee Dowden of Ft. Worth, Texas, Dorothy Allen of Lafayette, and Dinkey Douglas of Denton, Texas; one granddaughter, Tara
and Dustin Neal of Ft. Worth, Texas and three grandchildren, Anthony, Matthew and Lauren.
