Funeral services for Oleta Perkins Mitcham Clark, of Leesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2011, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery in Pickering, under the
direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 3-9 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2011, at the funeral home.
Oleta, the daughter of Mark and Bessie Nichols Perkins, was born on December 12, 1925 in
Vernon Parish. She passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. She retired from the Leesville Mental Health Clinic.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Perkins; mother, Bessie Nichols Perkins;
husband, Carl V. Mitcham; son, Rodney Carleton Mitcham; grandson, Luke Russell; sisters, Elwanda Harvey and Edwina Jones and brother, Raymond Wayne Perkins.
She is survived by her son, Michael Mitcham and wife, Laura of Tampa, Fla.;
daughters, Carla Sue Wharton of Sam Rayburn, Texas and Debra Russell of Leesville; grandchildren, Blake James Morrison of Houston, James Austin Russell and wife Lacey of Nacogdoches, Texas and Katelyn Marie Mitcham of Tampa, Fla.; and one great
grandchild, Issac Austin Russell.
