Jerry Barker Hale, 70, of Florien, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011
in Many. Jerry worked as a teamster on the pipeline for Mukluk Freight Line in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and retired in 1985.
Jerry is survived by sons, Jerry Barker Hale Jr. (Jessica), of Pasadena, Texas; Richard Hale (Keva), of Anacoco; Joe
Hale, of Houston, Texas; daughters, Tawnya Petty (Richard), of Florien; Dawn Lewis (Jerry), of Anacoco; mother, Leona Walsh, of Florien; brothers, James Richard Hale, Deer Park, Texas; Wesley Hale (Belinda), of Anacoco,; sister, Anna Hale (Calaway),
of Anacoco; grandchildren: Thomas Hale, Tanner Hale, Patience Hale, Everette Hale, Natisha Simmons, Kourtney Lewis, Justin Massey, Skip Weathers, Cory Lyons, Kristin Hale, Jenna Hale, Thomas James Hale, Amber Hale and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Ruth Hale; father, James Hale and brother, Thomas Hale.
Visitation will be held at Pisgah Baptist church Thursday March 31 starting at 5 p.m. and will continue throughout Friday until
service time Saturday. Funeral services will be held at Pisgah Baptist Church Saturday April 2 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Buddy Airhart officiating. Burial will take place at Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
