Graveside services for Martha Lou Ellis Mayo, 93, of DeRidder,will be held
at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, with Bro. Ken Dickerson officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Martha Lou Ellis Mayo was born September 24, 1917, near
Bullard, Texas. She was the daughter of John and Hattie Ivey Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Mayo, grandson John W. Cook and great granddaughter Valarie Cook.
She is survived by son, Frank Cook Jr and wife Bonnie
of Anacoco; grandson, Frank Cook III and wife Virginia of Hephzibah, Ga.; granddaughter-in-law, Kaleta Cook of Anacoco, five great grandsons: John, Matthew, James, Quint and Kevin; three great great grandchildren: Tristan, Belle and Brevin; one
brother: John M. Ellis and wife Sondra of Pleasant Grove, Utah; several nieces and nephews.
