James B. Christensen, 81, of Leesville, passed from this life on Sunday, June 26, 2011.

Mr. Christensen was a retired CSM with the U.S. Army. He received the following Medals and Decorations: VSM BSM AIRMDL w/ 18
OLC, CIB (2d awd), AF HON MDL 2d Class. He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.

Survivors include his two care givers, Jeanette Stark of Leesville and Bernice Miller of Leesville.

Service will be
Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 8 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Leesville. Father Kenneth Michels officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
