William Ronald James

William Ronald James, 63, passed away at his home on Sept. 24, 2011,
surrounded by his family.
Mr. James was a native of Cravens and was residing in Ragley. He was a faithful employee at Farmers Rice Milling Company for over 38 years. He greatly enjoyed fishing, bowling, and squirrel hunting. He was a
member of the 1966 Pitkin State Championship basketball team. Mr. James was a devoted husband, father,and grandfather. He was a true man of his word to all.
His survivors include his wife, Gina James of Ragley; sons, Jessie James, David
Johnson and wife Amy, and Steven Johnson and wife Nickie; daughters, Deedra Austin and husband Tim, and Renee Sonnier and husband Shane; 19 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Charlene Hunt
James; and brother, Alfred James.
His memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 27 at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Brother Richard Beckham will officiate.
