Funeral services for William Lamuel Wynn, 51, of Leesville, were held at 2
p.m. on Dec. 27 at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with Bishop Timmy Blalock officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Lamuel was born on May 26, 1960 in
Natchez, Miss., the son of Benjamin Franklin Wynn III and Maybelle Wright Wynn. He passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 in Leesville. He graduated from Ferriday High School, class of 1978. He then attended LSU where he received his bachelor’s
degree in mechanical engineering. Lamuel proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring as a Staff Sergeant with 20 years of proud service.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife of 29
years, Zella Wynn of Leesville; two sons, Justin Wynn and Benjamin Wynn, both of Leesville; his mother; two brothers, Benjamin F. Wynn IV and wife, Marilyn of Natchitoches, and James Wynn and wife, Kathy of Leesville; one sister, Becky Book and
husband, Nelson of Ferriday; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The pallbearers will be Bradley Burton, Charles Walker, Joseph Hamilton, Kenneth “Kenny” Curry, Nelson Book Jr. and Sam Blount.
Memorial donations
may be made to the Parkway Church Building Fund.
