Dovie C. Nichols, 81, of Leesville passed away on June 23, 2012 at her
home.
Services celebrating the life of Dovie Nichols will be held at 2 p.m. on June 26 in the Chapel of the Heritage Rowe Funeral Home in Leesville, with Bro. Wayne Chance officiating, and burial following in Holly Springs Cemetery in
Cravens, under the direction of Heritage-Rowe Funeral Home.
Friends may visit from 4-10 p.m. on June 25 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her sons, Larry Baker and wife Debbie, Benny Baker and wife Claire, Johnny
Baker, and Ronnie Baker and wife Carla; daughters, Cathy Turner and Jim Samuel, Laura Brack and Roger Hilton, and William (Peanut) Brack and wife Kathy; stepsons, Milton Nichols and wife Sherrell, and John Nichols and wife Joyce; brother, Buster
Keeton and wife Loretta Gulledge; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, plus a host of stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Nichols is preceded in death by her husband, John “Paw” Nichols; daughter, Cora Ann Stracener;
grandson, Bruce M. Baker; granddaughter, Rhonda Baker; seven brothers and four sisters.
