Funeral services for Pamela S. Tharp, 49, of Leesville will be held at 2
p.m. on Aug. 20 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Drew Crell officiating. Burial will follow in the Heritage Rowe Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 10
a.m. until the time of service on Aug. 20 at the funeral home.
Pamela, the daughter of David E. Tharp and Barbara S. Jones was born on Nov. 11, 1962, in Richwood, W. Va. She passed away on August 14, in DeRidder.
Mrs. Tharp
loved to fish, play games on the computer, real Christmas Trees, Elvis and Saints football. Her favorite soap opera was “Days of Our Lives.”
She is survived by her husband, Willie McHaxey of Leesville; son, Thomas Gent and wife, Sierra of
Leesville; daughters, Catherine Collins of Leesville and Bridget Gent White and husband, James of Leesville; brothers, Ricardo Moralez of Leesville and Richard Moralez of Leesville; sisters, Teresa Baker of Michigan, Tammy Lam of DeRidder, Penny
McVey of Oregon and Sandra Anderson of Leesville; and eight grandchildren.
