Winnie Peace

Winnie “Penny” Peace passed away on Aug. 24, 2012 in a local hospital in Lake Charles.
Penny was born in Bossier City in 1923, the daughter of John and Mary Belle Love. In 1944, Penny married Gerald M. Peace. Throughout their
55 years of marriage, they lived in Magnolia, Ark., Shreveport, Minden and Leesville. Following the passing of Mr. Peace, Penny moved to Lake Charles where she has resided for the past 14 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
Mrs. Peace was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and her beloved husband.
She is survived by her three daughters, Vicki Green and husband Perry, Geralyn Davis and husband Clayton and Louan Loverich and husband Don; five
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Aug. 27 in Prien Memorial Park in Lake Charles. Rev. Randy Edwards will officiate. Interment will follow service.
