Funeral services for Brenda Robertson, 63, of Leesville will be held at 3
p.m. on Nov. 24 at First Christian Church in Leesville with Revs. Jerry Keys and Jerry Penfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will
be held from 5-9 p.m. on Nov. 23 at the funeral home, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Nov. 24 at the church.
Brenda, the daughter of Charles “Pete” and Josie Lamberth, was born on Feb. 15, 1949, in Leesville. She passed away
on Nov. 21, 2012 in Leesville. She worked for Federal Civil Service for 33 years; upon her retirement, she was the Executive Assistance to the Garrison Commander. After her retirement, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.
She was a diehard LSU fan
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles “Pete” Lamberth and niece, Dana Dean.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Boyd “Chub” Robertson of Leesville; son, Chris and wife Karen
Robertson of Leesville; daughter, Melissa “Missy” LaCour of Baton Rouge; brother, Gerald and wife Judy Lamberth of Richmond, Va.; sisters, Wilma Funderburk of Leesville, and Dodi and husband Donny Dean of Atlanta; mother, Josie Lamberth of Leesville;
grandchildren, Kiersten, Kimberly, Jacob, Christopher, Alec and Abby; numerous nephews and nieces; and longtime friends, Peggy and Terry Lincoln.
