Funeral services for Michael D. Samsel, 51, of Anacoco will be held at 7
p.m. on Feb. 4 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Bobby Ganaway officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. on Feb. 7 in the Resthaven Memorial Garden in Corsicana, Texas. The services are under the direction of Labby Memorial
Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until service time Feb. 4 in the funeral home.
Michael David, the son of Roy and Ozella Samsel was born Sept. 18, 1961 in Sequin, Texas. He passed away Feb. 1,
2013 at the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. Michael loved fishing and was a very devoted father to his children especially his daughters Heather and Hannah of whom he was raising. He worked in air conditioning and heating maintenance at Fort
Polk.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ozella, a niece Talia and nephew Adrian.
Michael is survived by his sons, Michael Shawn and wife Amanda Samsel of Coppell, Texas, and Chad Brandon Samsel of Rice, Texas; daughters,
Heather and Hannah Samsel of Anacoco and Amanda and her husband Bo McGraw of Corsicana, Texas; father, Roy Samsel of Corsicana, Texas; brother, Stanley Sierakouski of San Angelo, Texas; three sisters, Cynthia and husband Joseph Kormos of Corsicana,
Texas, Sandra and husband Edward Marchakitus of Harveys Lake, Pa. and Tina Hernandez of Corsicana, Texas; and one grandchild, Blakeley McGraw.
