Judy, the daughter of Anna Bell and Alvin C. “Bud” Burns was born Sept. 29, 1953 in Pineville. She passed away Feb. 21, 2013 in Conroe, Texas.
Judy attended
Hicks High School. After school, Judy worked at a couple of local places in Leesville until moving to New Llano and finding her place at New Llano City Hall/Police Department as clerk and deputy, a place where she loved to work and loved the people
she worked with and created life-long friendships. She moved to Grand Prairie, Texas in 1983, and then moved to the Magnolia, Texas area in 1990 until her passing.
Judy never met a stranger wherever life took her. She seemed to always fit
in and families loved her as if she was a part of them. Judy loved spending her time talking to distant family on the phone and looked forward to reunions every year. She loved and always welcomed friends over to enjoy a BBQ and laughter. She enjoyed
spending time with her grandchildren and children from both sides of her family every waking chance she could get.
Judy is survived by her husband of 22 years, David Daley Sr.; her children, Michael Snyder, David Daley Jr., Clarence Daley,
Tabatha Daley and Marty Snyder; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charlie Burns.
Words of comfort may be expressed to the Burns and Daley family and Michael Snyder
