JUANITA E. GLASPIE

Funeral services for Juanita E.
Glaspie, 85, of Hornbeck, will be held at 2 p.m. on April 27 at Prewitt’s Chapel in Florien, will Rev. Huey Haymon officiating.
Burial will follow in the Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery in Florien.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. on
April 26 at Prewitt’s Chapel in Florien.
Juanita E. Glaspie was born on Nov. 23, 1927 in Sabine Parish.
Mrs. Juanita worked for 17 years as the gate attendant at Hodges Gardens and was very active in her church.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She passed away on April 24, 2013 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirk and Bessie Brown Coburn; husband, James H. Glaspie; two
brothers, Milton and LeRoy Coburn and one sister, Ruth Jones.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Fields and Margaret Ann Glaspie both of Anacoco; two sons, James Allen Glaspie and wife Linda of Hornbeck, and Charles Glaspie and wife
Linda of Hornbeck; sister, Aletha Hyatt of Many; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Toney Coburn, Joey Reifsnider, David Glaspie,
Robert Lilly, Ken Branson and Ronald Brown.
Honorary pallbearers are Earl Mitchell, Billy Foshee Churk Reifsnider and Milton Mitchell.
