Funeral services for Mrs. Daryl G. Boswell will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 13 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Aug.
12 in the funeral home chapel.
Daryl, the daughter of Enoch and Gera Simmons Smith, was born on Nov. 1, 1925, in Meridian. She passed away on Aug. 9, 2013, at the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Mrs. Boswell was a graduate
of Simpson High School and the Alexandria Business College. She worked for a time at Merchants and Farmers Bank and The Vernon Bank in Leesville. She faithfully supported her husband, Rev. Aubrey Boswell, as they were answering God’s call to the
ministry. She was a loving Pastor’s wife, mother, and grandmother. She will leave behind a legacy of a strong Faith in her Lord and Savior.
Mrs. Boswell was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Aubrey Boswell; one son, Jerry Boswell; one
brother, John Enoch Smith; and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, John Robert Boswell of Quantico, Va., and Timothy Boswell of Denham Springs; three sisters, Leisa DeWitt of Dry Prong, Sarah Margaret McNutt of Alexandria, and Edith
Vercher of Chopin; three grandchildren, Ian Boswell of Jacksonville, Fla., Luke Boswell and Katherine Boswell, both of Denham Springs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideons International.
