Funeral services for Naomi Brinkley, 58, of Leesville, will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 5 at Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Pine Island Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial
Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the funeral home, with a Rosary being help at 7 p.m.
Naomi, the daughter of Eugene Tyler, Sr., and Annie Mae Bebe Tyler was born Feb. 16, 1954, in
Pineville. She passed away on Oct. 2, 2013, at her residence in Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Wanda Sue Tyler, Shirley Tyler, Dora Jane Thomas, Mark Tyler and Jerry Eugene Tyler.
Naomi was a
loving wife and mother and grandmother. She was a giver not a taker. She had a sweet smile and never complained.
She is survived by her husband Billy Brinkley of Leesville; son, Jason Brinkley of DeRidder; daughter, Lisa Brinkley Oliver
and husband Steve of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Johnny Tyler and wife, Edna, Gerald Tyler and wife, Sabrina, Luke Tyler and wife, Mary, Elvis Tyler and wife Pat and Floyd Tyler and wife Cleo; sisters, Blanche Thomas and husband, Gene, Margaret
Byone and husband Cleve, and Elaine Bagby and husband, Abraham; grandchildren, Charles Oliver and wife Angela, Travis Oliver and wife Allison and Paul Oliver, and great-grandchildren, Charlie Oliver, Ryan Oliver and Trey Oliver.
