Funeral services Mrs. Janiece Thomason James will
be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4 in the Pine Hill Baptist Church in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 until
service time on Saturday in the church.
Mrs. James passed away on Monday, Sept. 29 in the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her husband O.C. James and her parents, John Henry Thomason
and Johnnie Lee Spillers.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Riley James of Bridge City, Texas and John Brent James of Baytown, Texas; one daughter, Cathy Jane James of Leesville; three brothers, Brucell Burns of Anacoco, Elton L.
Thomason of Sulphur and Quinton Thomason of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Massie Thomason Jones of Toledo Bend and Dorothy Richard of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, Chad Davis, Lauren Kento, Emily James, Travis Miller and Megan James; three
great-grandchildren, Riley Davis, Skye Marie Davis and Kennedy Davis.
