Funeral services for Travis Othaneil Addison, 79, of Leesville will be held at 11 am Thursday, Nov. 6 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Bro. Luther Bolenbarker and Bro D. J. Dickerson officiating. Bro. Jonathan
Glaesemann will be leading the congregational singing for the service.
The burial will follow in the Plunkaway Cemetery in Burr Ferry under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held
Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 5-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
Travis Othaneil Addison, the son of Andrew E. and Effie O. Addison, was born March 28, 1935 in Burr Ferry. He passed away at his residence in Leesville on Monday, Nov. 3.
Travis Othaneil was a longtime member of the White Park Church of Christ. He retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development as an engineer. He was a longtime owner of the Leesville Florist. He also worked for a number of
years at Hixson Funeral Home as a funeral director assistant. He loved farming and was an avid sportsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ashby Addison.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruby
White Addison; his son, Andy and wife Brenda Addison; and his grandchildren, Travis Franklin Addison and Rae Addison, all of Leesville.
