Anna Mary Meade

Mrs. Anna Mary Meade, 65, of LaCamp was called
home to be with the Lord on Dec. 9 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Anna Mary was born on March 8, 1949 in Barnetts Creek, Kentucky to the late Mr. Vernie Charles Blair and Mrs. OraLee Arms-Blair.
She was preceded in death
by her parents; three siblings, Wilma Lowe, Willis and James Blair; her infant daughter, Katrina Lynn Meade; and her husband, Davis Edward Meade, Sr.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, aunt and grandmother. She loved gardening,
reading and spending time with family and friends. She received much pleasure from treating the staff of the Leesville Dialysis Center and Acadian Ambulance Services to goodies at every holiday. She will be remembered for her compassion, sense of
humor, generous heart and obstinance.
Those left to cherish her memories include four children, Davis Edward Meade, Jr., Willie Meade, Tina Meade and Anna Lee Meade-Jackson; and two grandchildren, Melina Marie Jackson and Cheyenne Allison
Katherine Jackson, all from LaCamp. Her surviving family also includes her brothers Robert and Wayne Blair of Warsaw, Indiana; Vencil Pelphrey of Sydney, Ohio; James Meade of LaCamp; and members in Kentucky, Marion “Bobby” Meade-Vanhoose, Linda
Meade-Wiley, Willie Elmo Meade Jr., Thomas Meade, Richard Meade and Garna Jo Meade. She also left behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear lifelong friends.
