Karen Ann Temple, 48, of DeRidder passed away at
her residence on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
The daughter of George L. “G.L.” and Ethel Milburn, Karen was born in Sulphur. She was a registered nurse and worked for numerous medical facilities.
She loved spending time outdoors, be it
mowing the yard, fishing or whatever, just as long as it was outside. She especially loved playing with her beloved chocolate lab, Gracie.
Left to cherish her memory is her longtime companion, Elaine Marker of DeRidder; her daughter,
Shauna Temple of Lake Charles; her mother, Karon Resinger of DeQuincy; sister, Kinlyn Milburn of DeQunicy; brothers, Kody Milburn of Houston, Texas and Kevin Milburn.
There was a family-and-friend gathering at the Labby Memorial Funeral
Home in DeRidder, Saturday, Dec. 20 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Afterward, she will be cremated.
