Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs.
Virginia Katherine Loftin Foster will held on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. in Leesville, with Rev. Durhl Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Singer
under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 4-9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time in the Jeane’s Funeral Service chapel.
Mrs. Foster was born
May 7, 1939 to Elmer Riley and Helen Alene Young Loftin in Evans and passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at the age of 75 years, seven months and 12 days.
She was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She was a homemaker, a graduate of
Evans High School and loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to sew, cook and create jewelry from beads. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Anacoco.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles
Foster; sister, Ramona Jeane; and her parents.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lydia and Bennie Graham of Pickering, Regina and Craig Morrow of Leblanc and Sharla Wilbanks of Leesville; her brothers, Joseph Loftin of
Oklahoma and Buster Loftin of Georgia; her grandchildren, Charles and Jenny Elbert, LaBraja and Dan Hodges, Ben and Charlene Graham and Cody and Sarah Morrow; her great-grandchildren, Haley and Luke Elbert, Benjamin and Raleigh Graham and Gavin and
Bryce Hodges; and a host of other family and friends.
