Funeral services for Paul R. Smith will be held on
Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church, 128 Pine Hill Church Road, Leesville, La., with Rev. Tri Evans, Rev. Chase Burns and Rev. Jimmy Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of
Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 5-10 p.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church.
Paul Smith was born on July 20, 1971 to Bryan and Jean Smith in Alexandria, La., and passed away at his
residence on July 21, 2015 at the age of 44. He was a life resident of the Leesville area and attended Anacoco and Leesville schools. He worked for Walter Sheet Metal, Cubic, and in the oil field. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all outdoor
activities. He loved to help others and was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great grandparents.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Ryan Garcia Smith of DeRidder, La.;
Parents: Bryan and Jean Smith of Leesville, La.; Brother: Peter Smith and wife Jennifer of Anacoco, La.; Grandmother: Delores Phillips; Granddaughter: Isabella Garcia; Nieces and nephews: Isaac Davis, Anslea Davis, and Cole Smith; special family and
friend: Jerry and Judy Deters, and Mary Lambert.
