Funeral services for Robert W. “Guitar Bob”
Stewart, 65, of Leesville, La., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday July 25, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Sandy Guynn officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial
Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. until service time all at the church.
Bob, the son of Nelson Albert and Virginia Lee Hamon Stewart,
was born July 6, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in Leesville, La.
Mr. Stewart was longtime musician, avid fisher man and an exceptional carpenter. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and
camping. He had a green thumb.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Stewart.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Yolanda Jones Stewart of Leesville; sons, Robert Stewart & wife, Cyndi of Beggs, OK,
Jeromy Stewart of Mt. Vernon, WA and Robin Stewart & wife Marcie of WA; daughters, Shannon Guerero & husband Matthew of Clearlake, WA and Sandra Vandenburg & husband, Gary of Alta, CA; brothers, Ned Stewart of Olympia, WA, Leon Stewart of
Kansas and Johnny Stewart of Olympia, WA; sisters, Ginger Kral of Colorado Springs, CO and Patsy Stogdill of Grapeview, WA; sister-in-law, Charlene Stewart of New Mexico; brother-in-laws, Randall Jones and Romone Jones; mother-in-law, Millie Jones of
Leesville; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
