Services honoring the life of Mr. Benjamin Kneal
Stracener will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Lone Star Baptist Church, 781 Lone Star Church Road, Sugartown, LA 70662 with Rev Bryon Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Star Cemetery under the direction of
Jeane’s Funeral Service of Leesville.
Visitation will start on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 at Lone Star Baptist Church at 4 p.m. until service time at the church.
Mr. Stracener was born on March 23, 1938, to Barney and Daisy Beaver
Stracener in Vernon Parish and passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at the age of 77 years, five months and 17 days. He had worked in the logging industry. He loved to raise a garden and watch old westerns.
Preceding him in death were
his parents.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Jason and Valarie Stracener of Smyrna Community, La., Bryan and Robin Stracener of Pitkin, La., Nick “Musky” and Rose Stracener of Pitkin, La., Sam and Karen Stracener of Burr
Ferry, La., Cliff and Marlena Stracener of Leesville, La.
Daughters and sons-in-law: Gail and Jason Morvant of Ragley, La., and Sarah Stracener of Ragley, La. Brother: Eugene Stracener and Viola of Pitkin, La. Sisters and brothers-in-law:
Nancy Ferguson and Harvey of DeRidder, La., Christine Prather and Leroy of Singer, La., and Florence Hazleton and Jim of Pitkin, La. Host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
