Funeral services for Mary Eloise Linaweaver were
held on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Galilee Baptist Church, Evans, with Rev. Fred Hartzell and Rev. George Jeane officiating. Burial followed in Jarrell Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation was held
on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, beginning at 3 p.m. until time of service on Monday.
Ms. Mary Eloise Linaweaver was born on Sept. 10, 1936, to James and Lucy Jarrell Reid. She passed away on Oct. 29, 2015, at the age of 79 at her residence in
Evans. She was a life resident of the Evans community. She was a former nurse at Byrd Medical Center and also worked as an operator at Boise Cascade. She loved to participate in bible study at Hilltop Baptist Church where she was a member. She was a
loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence Linaweaver, sister: Helen Verrett, and grandchildren: Jamie and Cory Linaweaver.
She is survived by her children: James
and Anna Linaweaver of Merryville, Sherrill Clark of Evans, Terry and Gina Linaweaver of Baytown, Texas, Kelvin and Glenda Linaweaver of Calhoun, and Tracy and Debbie Linaweaver of Evans; sisters: Martha Bergin of Pasadena, Texas, and Linda Newsom of
Evans; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nephews and nieces.
