Ruby Rae Howard, 77, of Hornbeck, passed from on
Wednesday, April 20, 2016at her home. “She lived one day at a time”.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard Eugene Erwin and wife Karen of Hornbeck, Billy F. Erwin of Hornbeck, Jefferson Lawrence Erwin of Natchitoches,
Kenneth Earl Erwin of Hornbeck, and Joe Howard of Lumberton, Texas; daughters, Brenda Rae Stone and husband Larry of Anacoco, Katherine Francis Ball and husband L. C. Jeane of Hornbeck, Debbie Howard of Houston, Texas, and Jackie Howard of Crosby,
Texas; brother, Donny McKee and wife Jackie of Walnut Hill; sister, Shirley Ruiz of California; 26 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, Homer R. Howard; parents, Golda Mae and Jack L. McKee, Sr.; son, Wayne Erwin; daughter, Pauline Sigler and husband Roy; brothers, Thurman, Winfred, and Jack McKee, Jr.; and grandsons, Scotty and Bryan Eric Martin.
Visitation will
be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 beginning at 5:00 pm at Hornbeck Full
Gospel Church. Funeral service will be Monday, April 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Slagle.
Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
