Funeral services for Antje Werner, 69, of Elkhart,
Texas, were held Friday, July 1, 2016, at 1 P M, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Durhl R. Davis officiating. The burial will be at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Leesville,LA.
Antje was born in Oldenberg,
Germany, August 28, 1946. She passed away Wednesday, June 29 in Palestine, Texas.
She worked for Southwestern Bell as operator/business office. She also was the vice president for the family business, April Plaza Marina, in Montgomery,
Texas.
She was preceded in death by father and mother-in-law, George and Dorothy Werner.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronnie Werner of Elkhart, Texas; daughters, Teri Werner of Palestine and Tanya Frederickson
of Montgomery; sister, Jutta VanMatre of Tifton, Ga.; two grandchildren, Madison Gless and Mason McBroom.
