HEMPHILL, Texas – John W. “Little John” Trammell,
56, of Hemphill passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
A
native of Newton, he was born on Oct. 4, 1959 to John Henry and Mary Beck. A man with a big heart, he would do anything he could to help anyone. He loved to play music with his brother Eddie Trammell.
He was so proud of his children he
would tell people that he was a man before his kids, but his kids made him a real man. John loved to plant his gardens and work the land. He will be forever missed. He was a wonderful father, husband, and uncle.
The family would like to
give a special thank you to his nurse Pam Bryant, you lit up his life, he thought there was no one more greater than you.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Trammell of Hemphill; son, John Henry Trammell of Hemphill; a daughter, Lacy K.
Trammell of Hemphill; brothers Jerry and wife Claudine Trammell of Leesville,
La., Eddie & wife Debbie Trammell of Coldsprings, Danny Trammell of Jasper, and Ronnie and Mary Ellen Trammell of Burkeville; sisters, Linda and Floyd Peters
of Burkeville, and Deborah Trammell Jordan of Leesville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
