Roy Edward Pierre, the son of Lois Joshua Pierre and Addie Delores Robertson, was born on February 2, 1954, in Independence. He passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016, in Leesville.

He was preceded in death by his
parents, sister Louise Boham and his mother-in-law, Willie Mae Marshall, and father-in-law, Luther Marshall.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Pierre of Anacoco; son, Roy Edward Marshall of Leesville; daughters, Billie Jo
Pierre of Caterina, Texas and Alma Lee Pierre of Midland, Texas; brothers, Patrick Robertson of Independence and Robert Robertson of Bogalusa; sister, Jackie Rainey of Independence and seven grandchildren.

Cremation services
were under direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
