Funeral services for Faye Evelyn Rhodes, 89, of
Leesville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016, in the East Leesville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Smart and Bro. Donnie Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Rock Cemetery in Vowells Mill under the direction of Labby
Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday August 14, 2016, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the East Leesville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rhodes was born on May 29, 1927, to Walter and Alice Hildebrand Long. She
was a long-time resident of Vernon Parish. She and her husband owned and operated Rhodes Quality Meats on Texas Highway for many years.
She was a member of East Leesville Baptist Church and loved her Sunday School Class very much. She
also loved to join with her “domino ladies” for fellowship and to play dominos every Thursday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Rhodes.
She is survived by her children: Larry & Jeanne Rhodes of Leesville,
Dianne Hayes of Leesville, Debbie & Willie Deon of Anacoco, Susan & Greg Lemoine of Natchitoches; one sister: Nell & Leon McQueen of Bellwood; 12 grandchildren: Keith Rhodes, Kevin Rhodes, Kristy Merrill, Paul Hayes, Julie Latta, Kelli
Catron, Dana Keuten, Christopher Deon, Josh Deon, Alyson Hurst, Jenifer Williams, Lauren Lemoine; 14 great-grandchildren: Zach Rhodes, Rachel Rhodes, Conner Merrill, Colby Merrill, Kaleb Catron, Caden Catron, Laney Latta, Lakyn Latta, Emilee Keuten,
Kayla Keuten, Jacob Deon, Kenneth Hurst, Madison Hurst, Mason Crumpler.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lubbos, Dr. Matthew, The staff at Doctors Hospital and the ICU Staff at Byrd Hospital.

flowers donations may be made to the C.I.A. program at East Leesville Baptist Church.
