Funeral services for Randal Carey Smith, 72, of
Evans will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, with Bro. George Jeane officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, September 2, from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, September 3 from 1
p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Randal, the son of Carey Smith and Helen Spivey Dennis, was born on February 25, 1944, in Beaumont, Texas. He passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at his residence in Evans.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stephanie Smith; sister, Dora Richmond; and brother, Jack Dennis, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sylvia Smith of Evans; children, Carla Walker (Curd) of Evans, Randa Smith
(Dirk) of Evans, Kennis Smith (Sandy) of Singer, Wesley Smith of Evans, Brandon Smith (Tara) of Evans, Helen Smith of Evans and Randy Smith of Evans; siblings, Paul Smith (Phyllis) of Beaumont, Texas, and Ginger Maddox of China, Texas; 24
grandchildren and 22 great -grandchildren.
