Graveside services for Kenneth G. Green, 79, of
Leesville will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Cooper Cemetery in Pickering, with Rev. Edgar Evans officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be
Wednesday, November 16, from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, November 17, from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Kenneth, the son of Oral and Lena Dority Green, was born on August 18, 1937 in Kansas City, Kan. He passed away on Monday,
November 14, 2016, in Lake Charles.
Mr. Green was a Green Beret in the United States Army Special Forces.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Ingrid Green of Leesville; sons, Jimmy and Patricia Green of New York,
Timmy Dale Green of Oklahoma and Terry and Sharon Green of Leesville; daughter, Kathyleene and Charles Cater of Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Angela Mitchell, Kristine West, Justin Green, Alexis Green, Nicole Garcia and Sheena Green; and nine
great-grandchildren.
