Graveside
services for Shirley M. Smith, 88, of Evans be held Friday, August 4, 2017, at 3 pm at the Plunkaway Cemetery in Burr Ferry, with Rev. George Jeane officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.

Visitation will be Friday, August 4, 2017, from 10 am until 2 pm at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.

Shirley, the daughter of Elie N. and Helen Self Teasley, was born on November 14, 1928, in
Many, she passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, in Rosepine.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Betty Alford and Myrle Schroduers.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rev.
Melvin Smith of Evans; daughter, Brenda Stanley of Evans, LA; brothers, Henry Teasley of DeRidder and Max Teasley of Many; three grandchildren, Kimberly Maples, Kelli Guidry and Andrew Stanley; eight great-grandchildren and great nephew Joel
Stevison.
