Funeral services for John William Farris, 69, of
Anacoco will be held Monday, October 16, 2017, at 10 am at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville, with Rev. Mark Christian, Rev. Steve Lora and Rev. Shannon Buxton officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral
Home of Leesville.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 15, 2017, from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the church.

John, the son of Keadle and Ella Yvonne Self Farris, was born on February 5, 1948, in Leesville.
He passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017, in Alexandria.

John worked for the following; the dairy department in the Stanley’s Grocery, as welder in Houston, Triangle Chemical in Bridge City, Leesville Water Department,
Prassel Lumber Company, ran a route for the Alexandria Town Talk and worked at Boise Cascade in Florien, LA for 30-1/2 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald G. Farris.

He is survived by his wife of 37-1/2 years, Sheryl Farris of Anacoco, LA; children, Melony & husband, Benjamin Tull of Hornbeck, LA and Johnathan Farris of Anacoco, LA; siblings, Elizabeth Ann Farris of Vivian, LA, Rachel Elaine Partain of
Alexandria, LA and Jefferey K. Farris of Leesville, LA; grandchildren, Aaron Tull, William Dalton Tull and Oren Tull and a host of nieces and nephews.
