Judy Brant, age 78 of Anacoco, La, passed away on
Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Our Lady of The Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La. after a prolonged struggle with cancer.

Judy was born on August 7, 1939 in Leesville, La. to parents Beulah Jones and Alfred Mount. She was
a retired Nursing Assistant and homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was a caregiver most of her adult life. She lived on Lake Vernon and loved to fish and spend time with her family.

Judy
was preceded in death by baby daughter Elizabeth Ann, husband Philip Brant, mother Beulah Jones Hogan, son, Timothy Brant and daughter, Vickey Brant.

She is survived by son, Philip Brant Jr of Pineville La., daughter Susie
Haymon and husband Jimmy Haymon of Prairieville, La, daughter in law DeRonda Brant of Tioga, La. Six grand-children Chris Haymon and wife Lydia, Jessica Colley and husband Adam, Joshua Smith, Philip Brant, Joshua Hudson and Michael Hudson. Four great
grandchildren Jude Haymon, Stella Haymon, Owen Colley and Luke Colley.

She is also survived by cousins Betty Tharp, Jean Beavers, and Barbara Burns, who were very close and were more like sisters than cousins, and cousins
Cindy Nelson and Andy Tharp. Also, dear friend Pat Stewart.

A Memorial Service will be held at
Leesville Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Judy was kind and loving to all and was a caregiver and friend to many. She touched many lives and will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.
