Funeral services for Howard G. Owers 60, of Leesville will be on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 10 am at the Leesville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, in Hornbeck, under the direction of Leesville Funeral
Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018, from 5 pm until 9 pm at the Leesville Funeral Home, 508 S. 5th Street, Leesville, LA.

Howard, the son of Louis and Mable Trotti Owers, was born on
June 30, 1957, in Hornbeck, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Leesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mable Owers and sister, Elizabeth Ross.

He is
survived by his wife, Marie Owers; sons, Robert (Teela) Rice of LaPlace, Cory Johnson of Monroe and Nikki Hernandez of Mississippi; daughter, Laura (Brent) Rodriguez Duplechin of Leesville; brother, Louis Owers of Leesville; sisters, Sue Johnson of
Hornbeck, Linda Fiddie of Anacoco, and Karen White of Illinois; grandchildren, Luke, Amber, Hannah (Max), Haylee, Kylee, Alyzabeth and Layla and one great-grandchild.
