Timothy Darren Monk, age 43, passed away on
February 19, 2018. Tim was born June 15, 1974 in Leesville. He recently resided in Baton Rouge.

Preceding him in death was his father, Dr. Larry E. Monk and his grandparents, Claiborne and Marjorie Cole Pollard and James
Marion and Thelma Louise Miller Monk.

He is survived by his mother, Charlotte P. Monk, of Leesville, and brother, Jeffrey Monk, of Houston, his Uncle Kenny and Aunt JoAnne Pollard, cousin, Mark Pollard and wife Holly and their
children Wyatt and Gabriel, and cousin, Jonathon Pollard and wife Leila, and their children Noah and Elle, and Aunt Anita Calvert of Marble Falls and Uncle Jimmy Monk of Dallas.

Tim was a member of First Baptist Church of
Leesville. Tim graduated from Leesville High School in 1993, attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, and graduated from the Louisiana Art Institute in Baton Rouge. Tim was an award-winning artist, an accomplished web designer, and a
talented pre-press operator. His hobbies included cooking and eating a wide variety of foods, especially the McRib. He was well-known for his quick wit and sense of humor that lit up every room he entered.

Visitation will be
held on Saturday, February 24, from noon to 3 pm at the First Baptist Church of Leesville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, at 3 pm at the First Baptist Church of Leesville, with the Reverend Jeff Coleman
officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Leesville or the Leesville
High School Alumni Association.
