Funeral services for Thomas Eugene Toney, 74, of
Leesville will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 1 pm at the East Leesville United Pentecostal Church in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.

Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the church.

Thomas was born on July 17, 1943 in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away on June 16, 2018 in Leesville, Louisiana. Thomas lived in
Leesville until he moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana where he found the love of his life, Clara Lee Seaman and married her. They resided a short while in Lake Charles and then moved to Leesville with 4 boys where they continued to reside and added
another son and 2 daughters to the family.

He worked in the oil field industry on different occasions and then started his own business in logging where he worked until he became disabled. He was a member of the East
Leesville United Pentecostal Church where he attended since he was a child. He supported his church through bus ministry, building a cemetery and helping to see a new sanctuary built. He left a legacy and many memories for the next generations of
that community.

Thomas was the youngest of a large family of 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls with only 1 surviving brother, Charlie Toney of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara
Toney. Left to cherish his memory are his 5 sons: James Toney & wife Loretta of Pollock, LA, Dale Toney & wife Sonya of Haughton, LA, Danny Toney & wife Lisa of Leesville, LA, Bobby Toney & wife Donna of Knoxville, TN, Jody Toney
& wife Mary Jane of Walnut Hill, LA; 2 daughters: Annette Rafferty & husband Eddie of Rosepine, LA, and Tommie Lynn Dollar of Leesville, LA; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Charlie Toney of Lake Charles, LA; nieces,
nephews and many friends.
