Funeral services for Billy Dean Williams will be
held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at East Leesville Baptist Church with Reverend Gil Arthur officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26th at East Leesville Baptist Church.
Mr. Williams was born on October 15, 1926 in Shirley, Arkansas and passed away on June 24, 2018, in
Alexandria, LA at the age of 91. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Mr. Williams was stationed in many places around the world before retiring in Leesville. During his service he received many commendations and medals
to include The Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and The Bronze Star.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Williams; parents, William Garfield Williams and Allie Elizabeth Williams; and twelve
brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish their memories of him are his sons: Roger D. Williams and wife Janice of Simpson, LA; Ronald D. Williams and wife Joy of Colorado Springs, CO; Larry S. Williams and wife Jill of Baton
Rouge, LA; and James T. Williams and wife Linda of Leesville, LA
Grandchildren: Mark D. Williams and wife Kelley, Deena Williams, Ryan Williams and wife Rebecca, Sean Williams, Collin Williams, and Amy Gargin and husband
Michael Great grandchildren: George Williams and Camille Williams
and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Randy, David, Mark, Ryan, Sean, and Collin Williams.
Honorary
pallbearers will be Garland Lively, Lonnie Pardue, Kevin Magee, and Ted Larney.
