Richard Bennett McRae, 63, of Fort Worth, Texas
passed away on January 8, 2019.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:30a.m. at Springdale Baptist Church, located at 3016 Selma Dr., Fort Worth, Texas.
Richard was born in Leesville,
Louisiana to parents, Glen and Lena McRae. Richard loved college football, and often enjoyed watching his favorite team, the LSU Tigers. He was a restaurant manager for 17 years, and he took joy in helping others around him. Richard had a special
place in his heart for helping children and often donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He was a loving husband, caring father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Casey McRae;
brother, Danny McRae and his father, Glen McRae.
He is survived by his wife of almost 35 years, Casceil McRae; daughter, Randi Torres, and husband, Ryun; mother, Lena Bennett Wheelock; grandchildren, Emory, Avery, Jace, and Evelyn;
numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
